The character of Wally Forsythe made his debut in the Call of Cthulhu game "The Fungi from Yuggoth," by Keith Herber. Sean Branney ran that game, and it was that experience which hooked Andrew Leman on Cthulhu for life. When the time came to fill Wally's crate with props, Andrew went back to that old paper adventure and created some of the props as they might have existed if the game had been played live-action. This pamphlet was one such prop. Note the hand-written notation in the margins on the second page: "The Big Book is Blue" was a code phrase that came up in other games....
