Tired, but determined....

One of the best photos of Cthulhu Lives Investigators. This picture was taken at a coffee shop during the 1995 portion of the game, where the Investigators gathered to review their evidence and plan their next attack on Mariel Thorne. This was near the end of a long and arduous adventure, for both the characters and the players, and the fatigue is showing. Rachel Roberts (left) and Hannibal Callahan (standing) are wearing jewelry given to them by Miskato tribesmen in the 1840 segment of the adventure. Callahan is also wearing a tunic he picked up in medieval France, after the trip through the time portal stripped him of his own clothes. Formerly mild-mannered Mary Patterson (wearing glasses) is touching pages of the Necronomicon hidden by the Yithian in 1930, recovered by the Investigators in 1995. Gangster Patrick O'Connell (center) is carrying a shotgun he picked up during 1995. (Note the orange color, signifying to any potential policemen that it's a toy.) And Philip Grimm (right), who had read several sections of the Necronomicon to prepare for the final assault on Mariel Thorne, has gone completely gray by this point in the adventure. (Player Joe Foust kept adding more and more white to his hair and put on more makeup to simulate the cumulative effect that the book was having on his sanity.)
