Here is a view of the book opened. Inside the green leather covers are a brass plate which swings away to the right, underneath which is a wooden cover with designs carved on it, uner which is a leather cover protecting the actual pages. The pages visible in this photo are two of the original pages created by artist Darrell Tutchton for the short film The Testimony of Randolph Carter, made by the HPLHS in 1988. The original pages were augmented for the game with ones specifically created for the plot.
