This is one of several photos the Investigators saw at the seismology lab, of damage caused by the Helendale Earthquake. Since the quake was fictional, the Keeper used photos of comparable real quakes. This is actually a photo of damage caused by the Landers quake of 1992, which was similar in magnitude and in location. It shows offset tearing the 247 highway apart, which was a road actually adjacent to the desert site where the mummified body was found.
