April 22, 2007 Glendale - The Great Old Ones are coming back to rule the earth, and if the place isn't looking good, they're going to be pissed off. So, to appease them and improve the place for the organisms that live here now and in the future, the HPLHS is committed to green policies to help improve the planet. These include:

• Using energy saving flourescent lighting
• Using recycled products and packaging wherever possible
• Recycling paper, cardboard, glass and plastics use in our studio and office
• Discouraging use of plastic shopping bags
• Encouraging bicycling for our team members (yes, even here in LA)
• Buying sustainably-grown organic cotton garments when available
• Disposal of paints and other dodgy and potential toxic materials through authorized disposal centers
• Picking up and disposing of trash on the beaches and other outdoor areas
• Fostering environmental awareness for our team, our customers and the Lovecraft community worldwide

We figure we spend enough time bitching about the unconscionable environmental policies of our nation's leaders, the time has come for us to commit to action and encourage others to do likewise. We hope you'll join in the effort.
